Unforgettable Moments on Bali’s Vibrant Beaches and in Sacred Spaces
Hey everyone! I’m excited to share a bit behind the scenes from my incredible journey to Bali – a place that truly captured my heart and lens. My Bali trip was a whirlwind of breathtaking beauty and unforgettable experiences, spanning the serene rice paddies of Ubud, the lively shores of Canggu, and the dramatic cliffs of Nusa Penida. Each location offered a unique perspective, providing endless inspiration for this new collection of Bali prints and Indonesia travel photography.

Let’s start with Nusa Penida, an island of unparalleled natural wonder that left me speechless. The photos from this part of the trip feature iconic spots that you’ve likely seen pop up in your travel dreams. Capturing the sheer grandeur of Diamond Beach with its pristine white sands and dramatic limestone cliffs was an absolute highlight. And then there’s Kelingking Beach, a truly legendary spot with its T-Rex shaped headland. Photographing these Nusa Penida beaches from above, looking down at the incredible turquoise waters, was an experience I’ll never forget—and the reason why these are the lead photos in my Bali Edit.

Back on the main island, Ubud offered a completely different, yet equally enchanting, side of Bali. My days there were filled with cultural immersion and serene moments. I visited the beautiful Saraswati Temple, with its ornate carvings and lotus ponds, providing stunning backdrops for quiet reflection. Participating in a Hindu prayer at the sacred Tirta Empul water Temple was a profoundly spiritual experience, offering a glimpse into local traditions.

For pure relaxation, the Tjampuhan Spa provided the perfect rejuvenation. A personal highlight of mine—a yoga class overlooking the rice fields.

My Airbnb, with its infinity pool overlooking the jungle, was a true sanctuary, and enjoying a classic floating breakfast there felt like living in a dream. These photos capture the spiritual heart and natural tranquility of Bali.

Finally, Canggu brought a vibrant, energetic close to my adventure. This bustling coastal town is known for its incredible surf and lively atmosphere. I spent time at the beach clubs of Echo Beach in Canggu, soaking in the sun and the incredible energy. Evenings were filled with exploring the fantastic restaurants and bars late at night in Canggu, enjoying delicious food and live music. A memorable day included a visit to Sundays Beach Club, where I enjoyed the pristine beach and even tried my hand at paddle boarding in the crystal-clear waters. These Canggu beach photos showcase the fun, modern side of Bali’s coast.
